Friend of Nuns Moor Park

Nun Moor Park Needs you!

You will be helping a new area develop the park by planting, growing and maintaining the trees and plants. The park is a great resource and we want to help make it even better for the local community.

Anyone can come and help as we have lots of tasks for all ages and abilities, please note that children need to be accompanied by an adult. We run sessions throughout the year on the last Sunday of the month. Please meet at the Bike Garden, sessions run 10.30am – 12.30pm every Sunday.

Key Tasks

• Carry out gardening and maintenance tasks based throughout the park.
• Litter picking
• Planting trees
• Maintaining edges and borders.
• To work with a team of volunteers
• Use any tools and equipment safely
