Wildlife Gardening Course

Join us for this 11 week beginners course in collaboration with Northumberland Wildlife Trust, to learn how we can connect with nature in the city and make Newcastle’s green spaces a thriving home for wildlife!

The course is for complete beginners, and will provide an overview of different areas of wildlife gardening. In the final three sessions we will develop a community project to continue and grow after the course has ended.

Sessions will run on Monday evenings from 18:00-20:30 and Wednesday mornings from 10:00-12:30.

The sessions cover the following topics:

Week 1: Introduction
Week 2: Soil & Growing Media
Week 3: Growing Plants
Week 4: Arranging your Garden
Week 5: Lawns & Pollinator Patches
Week 6: Water in the Garden
Week 7: Additions for Animals
Week 8: Bringing it Together
Week 9: Community Project
Week 10: Community Project
Week 11: Community Project

The course will end with a final celebration in the week starting 21st July (date tbc)
