Nuns Moor Food Festival – Coming Sunday 10th July!

On Sunday 10th July 2016, the W.E.A. Greening Wingrove Project will be hosting a Street Food Party in the Arthur’s Hill area of Wingrove.  It will be a celebration of the diversity of the community and we want to bring people together to do one of their favourite things… enjoy freshly cooked food!

Residents will be able to enjoy locally cooked food from one of the many street food stalls.  We are working with local restaurants to put on taster dishes for people to enjoy.  Residents will also be able to take part in demonstrations and get to learn how to grow their own food, learn new cooking skills, help reduce food waste and take part in many other activities.  The festival will be as fun and as vibrant as the area and the people who live within it!  Everyone will be welcome to come out and enjoy themselves in the company of their friends and neighbours.

On the day, we will have local bands playing live music, face painters, magicians and offering lots of fun activities for all the family  There will be a large communal table for people to sit together, chat, enjoy food – either from the food stalls or bringing their own.

In the coming weeks we will post more information on the website, so keep coming back for up to date news!
