Carbon Monoxide Research Opportunity – Gift Voucher Incentive
Are you a private tenant who may want to take part in a research study about carbon monoxide?
Act fast if you are interested as there are only 3 spaces left on a first come first served basis.
Andy Stephenson from NEA (National Energy Action) has been in touch with Greening Wingrove, as NEA are shortly going to be doing a research project about carbon monoxide and the risks of this. They would like our help in identifying 3 people who are tenants from Private Rented properties from our area to participate in this study.
Please note: Participants must use a gas appliance to take part in this study. The work will not reflect on the landlord and as the research is anonymous the landlord will not be identified at any stage of the work, just in case they are worries that we may be highlighting issues with the property.
The study will consist of: an initial survey that will last about 1 hour in the participant’s household. They will then leave a special data logger there that will be able to measure the levels of carbon monoxide in the homes of which the will be collected 3 months later.
The 5 participants will each receive a free carbon monoxide monitor and upon completion of the study participants will receive a £20 gift voucher as a thank you for taking part and obviously the people taking part will be contributing to vital research.
Please note: as part of the Data Protection Act, NEA confirms the details used will not be attributed to any household, therefore the participants who chose to take part will remain anonymous.
If you are interested please email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details and we will pass your details on to Andy at NEA who will get in touch with you shortly.
