Wildflower Trail Launch
Come and take part in the launch of a brand new ‘West End wildflower corridor’. Find out how you can help create a ‘bee street’ with your neighbours.
The Arthur’s Hill Time Exchange has teamed up with Edible Elswick and Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, to offer local residents the chance to help create a wildlife corridor between Elswick Park and Nuns Moor Park.
The trail will see native wildflowers grown in backyards, gardens and street planters between the two parks. The flowers will not only brighten up our neighbourhoods, but provide valuable food for bees and butterflies, which in turn will help other wildlife grow and flourish.
This launch event will give you the chance to find out more about what’s planned, give you an opportunity to get involved and provide fun for children of all ages. There will also be stalls food and advice on offer, as well as information about a new food growing scheme for the West End.
If you can’t make this free event at the Nuns Moor Park Bike Garden, but want to get involved, contact email@example.com or call 0191 245 0663.
