Time to celebrate a year of growing in Arthur’s Hill and Wingrove.
A chance to see some of the things local people have grown in their back yards. A chance to sample street stir-fry with local ingredients. A chance to meet others, swap stories and share locally grown food. All are welcome, even if you’ve not grown anything. Come along for the fun and the food. Do try and bring a mug or cup, if you can.
It starts 6pm outside the Coptic Church, on the paved area where Brighton Grove crosses Fenham Road.
The session is organised by Vertical Veg, which for five years has been encouraging local residents to grow in their backyards and at the front of their houses. It will be the last session in this year’s street event programme.
