Fenham Library Future

Event Details

A two hour drop-in session will be held at Fenham Library from 2pm to 4pm.

The drop-in session will look at what is planned for Fenham Library, following planning approval earlier this year to convert the listed building into a library and “wellbeing and recovery hub”.

Some local residents have expressed concern that drug and alcohol recovery services will be available in a building which children will access and which is located close to Sacred Heart school. A cafe and a gym will also be based in the building, according to plans put forward by the City Council.

This session aims to answer resident questions about the building’s future.
